The most widely used coating type is SPECIAL OV. Controlled oxidation is applied to the cutting part of the saw blade, creating iron oxide (Fe3O4) on the surface. This enhances anti-friction properties at the cutting point. Saw blades with these characteristics are used for cutting main types of standard materials, except for aluminum, copper, and their alloys due to chemical incompatibility.
